V.R.Sanker's `Street Light'

The film is based on the story `Oru Pennum Parayathathu', which portrayed the life of deserted women from the society. Aparna Nair plays the role of Hima, who forgets her life and live for her family. Maya Viswanath plays the role of Dr. Sarala Devi, chairperson of Kerala women's Liberation. Other cast includes Irshad, Krishna, Praveen Prem, Krishna Bala Krishnan, Harisree Yousuf, DySP Raj Kumar and others. R.K. Kurup is producing the film under the banner of Ridge Event and Media Private Ltd. Shine Kurien, Sanker and Pavumba Manoj had penned the lyrics and music has scored by Kaithapram Viswanathan Namboothiri. Aneesh Lal is the cinematographer.
