Urvashi gets custody of her daughter Kunjatta

Kerala High Court ordered actor Manoj K. Jayan to hand over daughter Kunjatta to estranged wife Urvasi for four days during Vishu. The order is on a contempt of court petition filed by Urvasi against Manoj K Jayan. In the petition Urvasi pointed out that Manoj K. Jayan was not complying with the directive of Family Court that Urvasi could take the custody of her child occasionally. In February, she approached Manoj for taking Kunjatta to participate in Attukal Ponkala and Manoj could not allow it. The court heard the explanations of Manoj and Kunjatta on March 23. Considering the petition the division bench including chief justice J. Chelameshwar, and justice Antony Dominic ordered to handover Kunjatta from April 13 with certain conditions. Case will again be considered after the summer vacation of court.

Urvasi divorced actor Manoj K Jayan two years back and ten year old Kunjatta is now staying with Manoj at Ernakulam.
