`Umma' of Vijaya Krishnan reached theatres
Film critic Vijaya Krishnan's `Umma' reached theatres. The film produced by K.K Suresh, deals with terrorism and uneasiness spreading in the society connected with religion. Director and producer of the film in a press meet at Thiruvanathapuram said that the film carries a message applicable to the present society. `Umma' was screened in FILKA, a Film Festival held at Thiruvanathapuram recently. This is the first film in Malayalam to use the technology of Cinevator, which is a film recorder that operates real time. The director himself penned the dialogue and screen play. Cast includes Madhu, Sobha Mohan, Sree Hari, Kochu Preman, Sruthi Savanth, and Ranjithraj. Chandran Vettumal has tuned the music.
