Suresh Gopi's `Collector' ready to release

In the film `Collector', directed by Anil C. Menon, Suresh Gopi plays the role of Collector Avinash Varma. A special order of Chief Minister, from Delhi, he was appointed as collector of Cochin. Here Avinash had to face some terrorists, who were trying to destroy Cochin. One among them was John Christopher, head of a Sinhalese group. Sethu Lakshmi is the Mayor of City. Her idea is to lead the city to progress par with foreign cities. But Avinash's vision was different and did not want to make the city full of concrete sky scrapers. He was of the opinion that without meeting the basic needs of people, other development paradigms are utter nonsense. Meanwhile Chistopher planned to move with a builders group, who are relatives of Avinash, to complete his goal. But Avinash with his brillance could able to defeat the move of the gang. Mohini dons the role of Mayor Sethulakshmi. V.V. Sajan and Abdul Azeez are producing the film under the banner of V.V. Cinemax and A Cube Productions. Manoj Paramahamsa and Gunasheshan are the cinematographers. K. Raghu Kumar has scored the muisc for the lyrics penned by Gireesh Puthencherry and Sudhamshu.
