Sree Narayana award for Yesudas

Playback singer K.J. Yesudas has been selected for this year's Sree Narayana Award, instituted by T.R. Education and Charitable Trust and Thrissur Guru Bhavan. The award includes a purse of Rs 50,000. He will receive the award on January 7 in a function at Thrissur Town hall. Award was announced by Kaattikulam Bharathan, V.M. Manoharan and Manikandan Valath in a press meet at Thrissur on Monday.
