Prem Nazir Puraskar for G.K. Pillai

This year's Prem Nazeer award will be presented to actor G.K Pillai, who has been in the film field for the past fifty years.

The award includes a purse of Rs 15,000, a citation and a statuette designed by B.D. Dathan.

G.K. Pillai has been selected for the award instituted by Chirayikeezh Pourvali for his comprehensive achievement for the film field. Both Prem Nazeer and Pillai are natives of Chirayinkeezh Panchayat.
