Pooja of `Padmasree Bharat, Doctor Saroj Kumar' performed

The second part of the super hit film `Udayanaanu Thaaram' has been retitled as `Padmasree Bharat, Doctor Saroj Kumar'. Debutant Sajin Raghavan is directing the film. Pooja of the film was performed at Anchumana Devi Temple at Kochi. Sreenivasan lit the lamp. Logo was released by Mamta Mohandas. Producer Vaisakh Rajan switched on the camera. In `Udayananu Tharam', the hero Saroj Kumar shows all his snobberies and later repents for all his wrong deeds after the effective involvement of a talented director Udayan. The second part tells about Saroj's personal life. But during this period he has achieved many awards. Sreenivasan who has scripted for the second part too said, all the characters and the story in this film are imaginary. Mamta plays the role of Neelima, wife of Saroj Kumar. There will be another heroine in this film. Mukesh, Jagathy and Salim Kumar will play their roles like in the first part. Vineeth Sreenivasan and Suraj are also joining with them. Deepak Dev has tuned the music for the lyrics penned by Anil Panachooran. S.Kumar is the cinematographer. Shoot will begin on Sept 23. Hyderabad and Thiruvanathapuram are main locations.
