Nandhu Sreeraj's `Purse' rolling
Shoot of the movie `Purse', directed by debutant Nandhu Sreeraj is progressing at Nenmara and Alathur near Palakkad. The story revolves around a young man Raghu. He is educated, but an unemployee, leaves his village Kozhikara. He reaches Manjadikara village and joined as manager of an old theatre. Here Raghu tries to win the hearts and minds of the innocent villagers by entertaining them by releasing new films in the theatre. There is a tea shop of Manukka and it is the meeting place of villagers and there they share gossips. Kesukettu Bhasi and Ezhuthamma thalla are other characters of this village. Main place of attraction of the village is Kallu Karthiyani and her sweet five daughters. Auto driver Sundaran (Sudheesh) is a customer of Karthiyani. Later villagers happened to know the pathetic condition of Raghu and they are trying to save him to get out of the situation. Debutant Biju Nandan plays the role of Raghu. Kochu Preman plays Kesukettu Bhasi and Zeenath as Karthyani. Her five daughters are Sreeba, Aiswarya, Amkhitha, Midhila and Vaiga. Mamukoya dons the role of tea shop owner Manukka. Vijayaraghavan, Indrans, Sivaji Guruvayoor, Gopa Kumar and others support.. P.V.B. Nambiar is producing the film under the banner of Keloth Media. Manoj Gopan has scripted the screenplay. A.K Ravi Varma has penned the dialogue. K.P Nambiathiri is handling the camera.
