Muthukulam award for Chithra Krishnankutty

Muthukulam Raghavan Pillai award, instituted by`Kalithattu' for the memory of Muthukulam Raghavan Pillai, who scripted for the first Malayalam talking film `Balan', will be given to photographer Chithra Krishnan Kutty. Muthukulam was a lyricist and poet too. The award includes a purse of Rs 10,000. The award would be presented to Chithra Krishnankutty on February 18 in a function at Artist Kesavan memorial Kala Mandir at Kottayam.
