K.S. Chithra back to the world of music
Playback singer K.S. Chitra has come back to the world of music, after the accident, which led to parting her only daughter Nandhana, for a song recorded in Vadapalani Krishna D.G. Design studio at Chennai last day. She dedicated the song to Nandhana. Singer and music director M.G. Sree Kumar gave her a lullaby for the film `Ishtam+ Ishtam', directed by Jayachandran Ailara. At first she hesitated to accept the song, but Sree Kumar did not give up. At last, the support and encouragement of Sreekumar, that intended to bring her back to the field became successful.
The lyrics of the song begins `Amma ninne thaamara kumbilil thenoottanai vanneedaam, thennalai cheru thottilaatti mathiyaavoolam kandotte...'. Rajeev Alungal has penned the heart touching lines. Sree Kumar tuned the music in Harikamboji raga and he has sung the track too. Lyrics for other songs for the film penned by O.N.V. Kurup. Yesudas and Hariharan are the singers. Mohanlal, Revathi, Vandhana and Haneef are doing the lead in this film.
