Kavya Madhavan bags Sree Vidya puraskar

Actress Kavya Madhavan has bagged Sree Vidya puraskar 2010 for her performance in `Gadhama', directed by Kamal. The award includes a cash prize of Rs 10,000. She would receive the award from minister K.B. Ganesh Kumar on 19 of this month in a cultural meeting to be held at Co-Bank Tower in Thiruvanathapuram. Last year's winner of Sree Vidya award, Swetha Menon will also receive her award in the same function. Director Siddiq will be honoured in the function for his achievement, the first Malayalee to enter the Billionnaire Club. A competition will be organised to select best young talent in music. A music concert will be performed under the guidance of M. Jayachandran, which includes the sequences of Sree Vidya's song scenes.
