`Film Festival' rolling

`Film Festival', directed by A.K. Jayan is progressing at Paravur near Ernakulam. Story tells about a father and son. Garudan Pushpangathan has been doing villain role in films for the past thirty years. But he never gets a chance to do a character role. His ambition is to do a lead role. His father Gopala Krishna Panicker is a Kathakali artist. Audience loves his `vesham' Keechakavadham very much, eventhough he loved to do the characters of Arjuna and Sree Krishna. Both father and son reached in a dilemma as their audience is against their wish. Bheeman Raghu plays the role of Pushpagathan and Jagadeesh as producer. Other cast includes Irshad, Suraj, Arun, Jagathy, Indrans Jayan, Sivaji Guruvayur, Kalabhavan Rehman, Sarayu, Dhanya Mary Varghese, Lakshmi Sarma, Zeenath, Bindhu Varapuzha, Baiju Kottarakara and Salim Baba. Nanda Kumar has penned the screen play and dialogue. Sasi Rama Krshnan is the cinematographer. Vineesh Parakadavu is producing the film under the banner of Karma Films.
