FEFKA lifts ban on Thilakan
Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA) has revoked the ban imposed on veteran actor Thilakan.
General secretary of FEFKA B. Unni Krishnan announced the decision on Friday after the meeting of FEFKA executive committee at Ernakulam. The committee has taken the decision considering his remarkable films and wonderful characters he has presented to Malayalam films.
His weak physical condition was also another reason for lifting the ban. FEFKA will not send a formal letter to Thilakan as Thilakan is not the member of any film association now and whatever be the response of Thilakan FEFKA will not change its decision to free him, Unni Krishnan said.
The ban against Thilakan by Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) is still prevailing. Thilakan responded to the decision of FEFKA, that he could understand that there were some wellwishers in the organisation who love him.
