FEFKA imposes ban on director Ali Akbar
FEFKA has imposed ban against director Ali Akbar, who recently made `Achan' with veteran actor Thilakan in the lead. The ban has come into effect just days after FEFKA lifted its ban on Thilakan considering his weak physical condition.
Ali Akbar is now on the shoot of his new film `Ideal Couples' at Nilambur, in which Nazer and Usha Uthup doing the lead. FEFKA general secretary B. Unni Krishnan has issued a circular to technicians not to co-operate with Ali Akbar's film. Accordingly most of the technicians withdrew from the location. Meanwhile Ali Akbar said, though he has heard about the ban, he was not aware of the reason.
`Achan' was filmed when Thilakan was under ban and Ali was under the wrath of FEFKA, but later this film was released in some theatres in Kerala owned by the Government.
