Defence Minister A.K. Antony's son Ajith to play lead role in `Oberoi'

Defence minster A.K Antony's younger son Ajith Paul Antony enters tinsel world as an action hero in a Rs. 15 crore multi-lingual film 'Oberoi', directed by Aji John. Aji John was the director of Malayalam film 'Nallavan' in which Jaya Surya and Maidhili did the lead. In `Oberoi', Ajith plays the role of a rich tycoon's son and it tells the story of high flying business family. During the course of time the family traps in debt and the son takes over the charge of the business. This film will have three versions other than Malayalam. Other versions include Hindi, Tamil and Telugu and would be first made in Malayalam. In all the languages actors from the front row will do the lead. In Malayalam Ajith will do the lead. Story of the film is also penned by Ajith based on his own storyline. Shoot of this action-thriller will be done in scenic locations in the country including Kerala and in foreign countries. The pre-production work of the film has almost completed. A Delhi based company is producing the film. Ajith Paul has completed his bachelor degree in Arts from St. Stephen's college, New Delhi.
