Bharat Murali award for Kavya

Kavya Madhavan has been selected for this year's Bharat Murali award for her performance in `Gaddama', directed by Kamal, instituted by Bharat Murali Cultural Centre.

The award includes a cash prize of Rs 10,000, citation and a statuette. The award will be presented to Kavya on August 5 in a function at Kottarakara. Award committee chairman Shaji N.Karun, director R.Sarat, critic Usha S. Nair, Palliseri and Adv. V.K. Santhosh Kumar, secratary of Bharat Murali cultural centre, announced in a press meet.
