Paleri Manikyam : Oru Pathira Kolapathakathinte Katha

The story revolves around the unnatural death of a young woman named Manikyam in Paleri, a small village in northern Kerala, in late 1950s which remained unsolved mystery. 52 years later Haridas, from the same village, sets out a journey to solve the mystery behind the death.

'Paleri Manikyam' received positive response from the critics due to its unique narrative style. Megastar Mammootty plays 3 roles in the film, of which the role of 'Ahmed Haji' is considered as one of the best performance from him in the recent times.

'Paleri Manikyam' is based on a Malayalam novel by T. P. Rajeevan with the same name
